Howl at the Moon Together

Wiley Roots Brewing Company is proud to announce that we have partnered with WeldWerks Community Foundation, Innovative Labeling Solutions, Source of Nature, Propagate Lab, and the distribution arm of WeldWerks Brewing Company to release Howl at the Moon Together, a Blood Orange Hard Seltzer, to raise money for the fight against COVID-19 in Greeley, Colorado.

On March 26, 2020 WeldWerks announced that they had created bottles of sanitizer through their non-profit, WeldWerks Community Foundation. After the announcement, they immediately received requests for sanitizer from across Weld County. After distributing the first batch, they partnered with Pine Bluffs Distilling and Tower 56 Distilling to create more sanitizer, distributing bottles to Banner Health, Greeley Fire Department – Greeley, Colorado, Greeley Police Department Weld County Government, and United Way of Weld County’s Cold Weather Shelter, along with others.

Since then, WeldWerks Community Foundation has become a critical part of Greeley’s COVID-19 relief efforts, supplying local organizations with needed sanitizer and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including gloves and masks.

Last week, Kyle Carbaugh, Head Brewer and Co-Founder of Wiley Roots, reached out to Neil Fisher, Head Brewer and Co-Founder of WeldWerks, and Colin Jones, CEO and Co-Founder of WeldWerks, to offer financial support to WeldWerks Community Foundation’s local COVID-19 efforts. As neighbors and friends with the brewery, we wanted to help, but didn’t know how. That’s when the 8pm nightly howl inspired us to do something big, by creating a Blood Orange Seltzer to raise money. To do this, Kyle reached out to Innovative Labeling Solutions, Source of Nature, and Propagate Lab to ask if they would donate products and services to create and package the seltzer.

By working together, friends, vendors, partners, and neighbors will release “Howl at the Moon Together” on April 22, 2020 at Wiley Roots and across the Denver-Metro area at select liquor stores, with WeldWerks providing distribution to stores free of charge.

Howl at the Moon Together is a refreshing 4.5% ABV Hard Seltzer made with whole fruit Blood Orange juice and purée. All profits will be donated to the WeldWerks Community Foundation.

Orders can be placed online from your phone or computer. Just give us 30 minutes before pick up, so that we can put together your order, to facilitate a seamless exchange while also ensuring that we are following the social distancing guidelines issued by the CDC and the state health department.
